Owen Sullivan III (1724-1797)
Owen was born in 1724 in Virginia, USA. He died in 1797 in Newberry, SC.
He married Sallie O'Dell Nelson (1721-1747)
1782 Census places him in Charlotte County, VA.
OWEN SULLIVAN III received a land grant in South Carolina in 1773.
Their children are:
1. Elizabeth Sullivan b. 1746, Charlotte, VA d. Sep 11, 1864 Hopkins Kentucky
2. Charles Sullivan b. 1747, d. 1748
3. William Sullivan b. 1755, SC; d. 1840 Lee, GA
4. Fannie Sullivan b. 1775; d. Nov 20, 1846 Crittenden, KY
5. Nelson, Sullivan b. 1790 SC
Well, here's a puzzle. If Sallie really died in 1747, then obviously William isn't her son. I also doubt Nelson was Owen's son .. as he would have been in his 70's when he was born.. lol. I'll have to see if I can dig up any more info about Sallie and her death date ..
