Mitchell Sullivan (1819-1893)

Mitchell was born on 19 July 1819  in Bulloch Co., Georgia. He was the son of  William Sullivan and Lydia Peacock.  He was 5ft 6 inches tall, blue eyes, dark hair.

He married Elizabeth Ann Jones.
He married Susan A. Walker on 24 April 1862 at Lafayette Co., Florida.
Mitchell died on 19 November 1893 at Lafayette Co., Florida, at age 74.  He was buried in November 1893 at Midway Baptist Church., Lafayette Co., Florida.

He was a farmer by trade, owning several hundred acresof property per the 1850 Federal Census of Madison County Florida. Lafayette County was created from Madison Countyin1956 so that is why this family is enumerated in Madison County in 1850.
Prior to the Civil war, Mitchell served in the Union Army. He saw service in Company D of the Second Regiment of the Florida Cavalry. He was 5 ft 6 inches tall, blue eyes, hair dark. The estate of Mitchell  Sullivan was probated 8 December 1893 in Lafayette County, Florida.
